On a farm, sheepdogs protect sheep and the rest of the farm animals from wolves and other predators. Their likeness to the men and women who stand ready to protect their friends, family, neighbors, and even total strangers in the face of evil and disaster is what has prompted those people to proudly refer to themselves as sheepdogs.

Sheepdog Industries is named after these protectors. Our company is dedicated to strengthening our nation and our communities. At Sheepdog Industries, we believe that those who follow the "sheepdog" lifestyle are the backbone of our community - along with our military, police, firefighters, and other first responders; which many of whom consider themselves to be sheepdogs when off duty or retired, as well.
